Christian Paintings Gallery 1
Watercolors, Acrylics, Oil & Ink

This Christian Paintings Gallery features thumbnails of my art created in ink, watercolors, acrylics and oils. I rarely work in just one medium. The thrill of discovery in each medium keeps me completely engaged in the process of art.

Please click on the thumbnails to find out more about the art, or to read pages of related content.

What I yearn to express usually determines what medium I will work in. Most often, as those of you who are artists know too well, what I eventually create falls far short of what I had hoped for!

Even so, the pursuit of excellence in expression is well worth my while! I hope my audience will also look kindly upon my efforts, grasping somehow what I attempt to say!

Watercolor is the medium I first learned after basic drawing. I discovered sculpture  much later and fell in love with it. Acrylic painting is a natural extension of painting in watercolor, except that it is far more forgiving. I am not quite as familiar with oils as the other two media, although I do enjoy the buttery feel of oil paints on a taut canvas. As for working in collage and mixed media, it is so much fun to become a child again - anything goes, all rules are thrown out the window and the painting surface becomes an sensory and interactive object!
