"Beyond the Rituals", Acrylic on Canvas

This was an attempt to bring spiritual understanding to those who are trusting in the rituals of a Christian service.
Sometimes, especially to those brought up with a church background, the reality beyond the ritual is not sought out.
I hope this encourages a deeper walk, a seeking of a better relationship with God.

"Worship in the Overflow", Acrylic Painting

Fred Baumbach: This painting was birthed out of a time of worship. I was listening to worship music and seeking to worship in the act of painting.
I am not a schooled artist, but had expressed myself in dance and flag worship. At the time I didn't know anyone else doing this kind of thing. Now I've been painting for over ten years.

"Intercession", Acrylic on Canvas

This painting was developed as a visual aid. I was leading a nursing home ministry at the time. The idea was to encourage those that were capable of praying.
I think it accomplished two things. First, it showed them that they still had value.
Second, if they could grasp the concept, they could become prayer warriors for the problems that their families could probably not deal with.
