Creative Catalysts

Worship Ministry Catalyst and Garden City Present a Podcast with Christian Artist Sara Joseph

For Christian artists, creative catalysts are as necessary as water to fish. Inspiration can spring from unexpected places—a well phrased thought, sunlight glinting off specks of floating dust, the softness of a petal or the beauty of an unselfish act.  Inspiration can jolt new ideas into existence or nudge you into different arenas of exploration. Creative catalysts can stoke the making of fresh art.

However, more than material sparks are creative catalysts clothed in flesh and blood in the form of our brothers and sisters in Christ. They seek the same kingdom, serve Jesus with familiar resources, and sometimes wander foolishly on the same detours as we do! With a sigh of relief we can rest, knowing that we are not alone.  Knit together as we are in Christ, we heed the lessons they’ve learned from their rabbit trails. Our unique stories and experiences are pertinently diverse in order to be meaningful to others in the body of Christ.

No one is useless. Never forget that!

"All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.

For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink." 1 Cor 11-13

It is in light of these truths that I  recommend visiting the Worship Ministry Catalyst website, a creative catalyst worth sharing. If you are looking for a venue to showcase your  artwork, create with other Christian artists in joint ventures, or bring some other creative dream to fruition, Worship Ministry Catalyst is a resource that is both inspiring and broad in scope and ambition.
