God has always been my favorite artist

by Victor
(Florida)

It is true that pursuing the life of a Christian artist is full of challenges and struggles. But God has given me a joy in seeing the world and interpreting it through drawing, painting, and designing from His creation.

God has always been my favorite artist, and He will always be the Master Artist.

Thank you ever so much for being faithful to Him and starting this site. I have used it frequently to spur me on in my daily challenges.

Even after attending a Christian college for 4 years, I still don't know where my niche as an artist is: but by the grace of God I will keep trusting Him one day at a time, and one step at a time. Keep up the encouragement and stay close to Christ, God Bless!

It's a Journey
by: Sara

Thank you, Victor, for your comment about the site.

You have described it well - this state of not being fully certain about what your specific niche/role, as an artist, might be.

I am discovering that it is a growing revelation - like all spiritual things. We receive a seed of truth and then act upon the little that is clear to us. God then entrusts more to us. It is up to us, at that point, to take the more and act again by faith...

Each step of the way we are called to both trust Him, and to obey whatever promptings He gives us. While the details of the journey may not be completely clear, the rewards of following Him are certain and guaranteed.

"But thanks be to God, who ALWAYS leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him." 2 Cor 2:14

So I pray that you will continue to seek Him and honor Him, by obeying everything He asks of you, in your life and your gifting.

Sara
