INSPIRED BY THE POWER OF THE CROSS
Ann's oil painting is the sort of visual feast that I enjoy. She has not shied away from using all areas of the canvas. The composition is bold. I am forced to confront the cross.
She has divided the canvas into four almost equal quarters. Yet there is enough visual interest in the shapes, colors, symbolism and forms, to keep the painting from being static. In fact, I think that it is down right explosive!
Thank you, Ann for sharing. Keep up the good work, and do let us keep peering over your shoulder as you create new work.

Ann, what a cheery, splashy, LOVE washed painting!
Can you can see what I see, in those warm and wet rocks?
Reminds me of the Scripture 1 Pet 2:5
.."you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."KJV
I am one of those rocks, delighting in the spray and the drenching of His Spirit.
