Cards for Christ

by Susan Ruby
(Elliot Lake, ON Canada)

Susan:I realized that my artwork standing alone wasn't sending the messages instilled in my heart, so I decided to attach scripture to them and now have over a hundred cards...I don't know what to do with them...

I'm hoping someone somewhere can perhaps lead me to a channel where they can be utilized.

Sara:
Your work is beautiful, Susan.

If you wanted to sell multiples of the work as cards, giclees, canvas or paper reproductions, there are plenty on online sites like Cafe Press, Zazzle... for you to do that at no cost to you. They will give you an outlet for reaching a worldwide market.

However, if you were looking to sell the original works, perhaps it would be best if you found a local gallery to exhibit it, since I am certain that buyers will want to experience the original to get a better feel for size, medium....

I pray that showing off your work here at Christian Artist Resource, will give you an opportunity to gain an interested audience.

Thank you Sara and Carliss for your comments.

The rapture's imminent and I just want to get the message out.

God bless you both, your sister in Jesus, Susan

Give and It Shall Be Given Unto You, Full Measure and Pressed Down
by: Carliss Prosser

Carliss:
I've made Christian and secular cards for years by printing them by ink jet and/or laser off my printer, using various programs on my computer. I used to have a professional company do it, but now the quality that I can produce is just as good.

I've sold them in the SC state Museum gift shop, local galleries, art shows and exhibits through our local Artist Guild. I have given them away as gifts for Christmas to friends, family, neighbors and fellow teachers in school. I use them myself to write people notes, etc.. as a witness as well.

I am a professional artist and graphic artist but I am not led of the Lord to go out to market my work currently, because I am in the ministry as well. I have been giving most of them away instead as gifts.

God will prompt you as to where and to whom you are to share your work or to market them.
