About Me

Nothing can tell you more about me, than the artwork on this site (except when another artist is specifically mentioned). Most of the art shown is what my hands have offered up to God. Surely through the work you already know me well!

God is my first passion. This site is really more about Him and less about me.

My name is Sara, and like my biblical namesake, I laughed first at the possibility that God could care about me!

Thankfully God was bigger than my cynicism and infinitely patient.

All that I am today is because of Him. All that I will be tomorrow, will also be because of Him. He is the one you really need to know.

I hope you enjoy the lighthearted poem above, about my identity.

Choosing early to let Him lead, I purposed to do my best to follow. Of course there was much to learn about following, and I was a reluctant student.

It has been a challenge not to run ahead of Him, just as much as it has been a challenge to keep His pace! Prone to wander off the path, I chased many selfish fantasies before being persistently and firmly redirected!

He has prodded me out of my comfort zone far more than I could ever have thought possible. There is a lot about me today that I find completely unrecognizable and amazing. I am still in His school and cannot fathom what more He can have in store for me!

All of that is what I hope to share with you, dear Christian artist. Wherever you are, if you will doggedly refuse to follow any other but Jesus in your artistic pursuit, you will enjoy the adventure of your life.

And like me, a few years from now you will look in wonder at what God has wrought, in you and through your art.

This site is to help you along in your pursuit. As an artist, there was no way I could put together this site without terrific tools.

If you want to reach the world with your story and design a website to do so, find out how I did it.

This is for those of you who want to know more about me.
